Baldor the Hapless (died T.A. 2570) was the prideful son of Brego and grandson of Eorl the Young.

With his father, he explored Rohan, and came to Harrowdale. They found the Paths of the Dead. Surprised by a riddle from an old man that forbade them passage, he became curious. At the inaugeration of Meduseld in T.A. 2569, he vowed to pass the Dark Door. He did so a year later, and was never seen again alive.

Early March T.A. 3019, Aragorn and the Grey Company found the golden-clad knight. His legs were broken, and his sword was notched.
She secretly helped Húrin's wife Morwen after the battle of Nirnaeth Arnoediad. When Túrin, son of Húrin, returned to Dor-lómin, he learned from Aerin that his mother had left Hithlum, and in his rage he killed Brodda, thereby also sealing Aerin's fate, who burnt herself alive in her halls, and the remainder of the House of Hador now was persecuted even more cruelly.
