I have been using Cirth since the late 1960s.  I have an ad poster from Caedmon Records that is from the 1970-1973 era that uses certh-28 as if it stood for a single word, probably &amp;quot;a&amp;quot; or &amp;quot;the&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There is a very tiny note printed at the bottom of the poster that reads:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;(The first advertisement in the Elvish Language)&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The poster itself reads as follows (each line is shown as on the poster and each line is in Cirth except for the line with Tolkien&#039;s name).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
certh-28&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
record&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
certh-28&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
