Akallabêth is a Tolkien-related black metal band from Sweden. The band takes its name from the Akallabêth, the account of the downfall of Númenor, and its lyrics draw on Tolkien's legendarium. Its 1996 demo Barad Dûr features songs such as "Orodruin", "Nirnaeth Arnoediad" and "Ered Gorgoroth".
