Aratan (Q, pron. [ˈaratan]) was the second son of Isildur.
History
Aratan was slain with his father and his brothers Elendur and Ciryon in the Disaster of the Gladden Fields.
Etymology
Aratan is Quenya for "Royal Man", from ar "royal" and atan "man".
