Ardaranye was the Quenya name for "the Kingdom of Arda" under the guardianship and headship of Manwë Súlimo, the Elder King of the Valar, which is Ambar 'the Earth' as a whole planet (including the Blessed Realm until its removal from the circles of the world after the Downfall of Númenor in S.A. 3319) together with all the celestial objects nearest to it, including the Moon, the Sun, and even some 'stars'.[1]
In other words, Ardaranye was precisely an equivalent for the whole Solar System.
