Britt G. Hallqvist (February 14, 1914 - March 20, 1997) was a Swedish author and translator.

In 1962, she did the second Swedish translation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit (Bilbo - En hobbits äventyr ["Bilbo: An Hobbit's Adventures"]; illustrated by Tove Jansson).

In 1972, she translated Tolkien's Smith of Wootton Major (Sagan om Smeden och stjärnan ["The Tale of the Smith and the Star"]).
