Eglantine Took (née Banks) was a Hobbit of the Shire.

Eglantine was the wife of Thain Paladin Took, and mother of Pearl, Pimpernel, Pervinca and Pippin. She was present at Bilbo Baggins' Birthday Party.[1]
Etymology[edit | edit source]
She was named after the flower eglantine.
