Fastred of Greenholm was a Hobbit of the Shire.
History[edit | edit source]
Fastred married Elanor Gardner in Fo.A. 30 on the Far Downs. Together they had a son, Elfstan,[1] and a daughter Fíriel.[2]
He was made Warden of Westmarch in S.R. 1462 by Thain Peregrin Took, and he relocated to the Undertowers with his family.[1]
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Fastred in Old English means "fast-rede, firm-counsel".[3]
