Folca (T.A. 2804 – T.A. 2864, aged 60 years) was the thirteenth King of Rohan.
History
Folca was a great hunter who famously cleared his country of the scourge of the Orcs, in vengeance for the death of his father Walda at their hands. Having cleared Rohan of Orcs, he rode to hunt the monstrous Boar of Everholt, but suffered a mortal wound from the beast. He was succeeded by his son Folcwine.[1]
Etymology
Folca is a name that means "of the folk" in Old English.
