With Gil-Galad's death fighting Sauron, who inheirited his position as ruler of the Noldor, his grandnephew Elrond, or his cousin Galadriel? Elrond fought beside Gil-Galad, but Galadriel is older and is all elf.—Unsigned comment by Earnur (talk • contribs).
- You answered your own question. In "right of/to rule", the oldest goes first. (I.E. Boromir before Faramir, Isildur before Anarion, etc.) Therefore, Galadriel would rule untill she decided to pass into Aman, then her House or Elrond's (Elrohir or Elladan).A good day to me, is waking up in Middle Earth! 23:54, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- The High-kingship would have passed to Eärendil, but, since Eärendil was
in Valinor, the High-kingship would pass to Elrond. Also, Breragor, can a female even be High-queen? I'm not sure.
