Fourth Age 6 (abbreviated to Fo.A. 6 or F.O.) is the 6th year of the Sun of the Fourth Age of Middle-earth. Unless otherwise stated, Tolkien Gateway follows Shire usage in Appendix B for reckoning Fourth Age years: Fourth Age 6 was also known as S.R. 1427 in Shire-reckoning.

- Will Whitfoot resigns as Mayor of Michel Delving. Samwise Gamgee is elected as Mayor for the first of seven terms.[1]
