The House of Finwë was a large Noldorin house that held the High Kingship of the Noldor. Its device was that of a great golden sun, even though Finwë was slain before the Sun was made.
Lineage
A star marks the kings. Except in several cases including that of Finwë the first name listed is Sindarin, and the second Quenya. Those with only one name given usually but not neccessarily have only a Quenya name, the one given.
- Finwë* = Míriel Serindë (first wife, gave birth to first son}, = Indis (second wife, gave birth to other sons and daughters)
