ilweran

Ilweran is a Qenya name for the Rainbow.[1]

Oromë made it as a bridge for the Valar from the hair of Vána, his wife, after the hiding of Valinor. It was called Rainbow by Men, because it shines with colours during rain.[2]

Etymology

The literal translation is "Bridge of Heaven".[1]
