Lúthien (son of Gelmir)
From Tolkien Gateway
Lúthien son of Gelmir was a Gnome, according to an early version of the legendarium in a prose fragment following The Book of Lost Tales.[1]
History
After the Gnomes returned to the Great Lands to wage war with Melko, Lúthien lead one of the three great armies of his father Gelmir. His standard (banner) was that of a "golden swallow that winged through an azure field as it were the sky set with silver stars", and his army preferred bows over other weapons.[1]
Beyond this point in the story, nothing else is known about him.[2]
