Lhamthanc is a "serpent-name" mentioned next to Gostir in The Etymologies, and possibly denotes a dragon. Lhamthanc is not mentioned in any other known story.[1]

Etymology[edit]

In Noldorin, Lhamthanc means "forked tongue".[1]
