Núneth was a lady of the Westlands of Númenor, who lived in the eighth and ninth centuries of the Second Age. She married Beregar, and together they had a daughter, Erendis. It was Erendis' troubled courtship and marriage to King Tar-Aldarion that formed the subject of one of very few tales to survive the Downfall of Númenor, Aldarion and Erendis. Etymology
Núneth is Sindarin and means "Woman of the West" (from annûn, 'West', and -eth, a feminine suffix).
