Philip Mitchell was a freelance programmer at Melbourne House, brought into the company on the recommendation of Veronika Megler. He wrote the coding for the text-adventure video games The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings: Game One,[1][2] Shadows of Mordor.[3][4] and Crack of Doom Software Adventure.[5][6]
