Plaques and Memorials is a list of blue plaques and memorials installed in public places of United Kingdom to commemorate a link between that location and J.R.R. Tolkien. Often made by The Tolkien Society and local institucions.

J.R.R Tolkien lodged here at 4 Highfield Road, Edgbaston. This was his last address in Birmingham for it was here that Ronald heard that he had won an exhibition to Exeter College, Oxford, to study classics. Birmingha Civic Society and Tolkien blue plaque reads

The text of the plaque reads:

This plaque is over the garage at the front of the house.The text of the plaque reads: The Hill J.R.R. Tolkien lived here 1953-1968 [3]

2 Darnley Road, West Park

The text of the plaque reads:

J.R.R. TOLKIEN CBE Academic and author lived here between 1924 and 1925. While Reader, later Professor, at the University of Leeds 1920-1925, he collaborated on a new edition of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Tolkien went on to write The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. 1892-1973 [4]

Hotel Miramar, East Overcliff Drive, Bournemouth

Reads an iron plaque engraved in English and Afrikaans:

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, was born on this site on 3 January 1892.

Bust

In the chapel of Exeter College, Oxford, there is a bust of J.R.R. Tolkien made by Faith Tolkien. Above the bust reads:
