History[edit | edit source]

Throughout the Second Age, Rían accompanied Galadriel in her hunt for Sauron.

The latest mission was one in which they had to find a certain fortress in the Forodwaith. Upon finding and beginning to investigate there, it was Rían who first noticed the stalking Hristorco, shouting a warning to rest of the company.

After the Hristorco was killed, Rían joined in with Thondir and the rest of the company in demanding that Galadriel returns to Lindon.

Upon his return to Lindon, Rían, like the rest of the company, was honoured in a great ceremony by the High-king Gil-Galad. As such, he was granted permission to return to Valinor.
