Siriondil (Third Age 570 – 830, aged 260) was the eleventh King of Gondor.

History

Siriondil's rule was apparently uneventful. He had two children, Tarannon and Tarciryan.

He was succeeded by his illustrious son Tarannon Falastur, the first of the four Ship-kings of Gondor.

Etymology

Siriondil is Quenya for "River-friend". Sirion seems to refer to the Anduin rather than the river Sirion in Beleriand of old.
