Snaga (orc of Isengard)

An orc, addressed as Snaga, was a scout under the command of Uglúk, and part of a company who was bringing Peregrin Took and Meriadoc Brandybuck to Isengard. He was killed when Éomer's riders attacked their camp.[1]
Portrayal in adaptations[edit | edit source]
1981: The Lord of the Rings (1981 radio series):
- Snaga was voiced by Gordon Reid.
2002: The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers:
- Snaga is played by Jed Brophy, and voiced by an uncredited Andy Serkis. In the film, he is depicted as an Orc of Mordor under Grishnákh's command. He is decapitated and cannibalized by the ravenous Uruk-hai.
