The Westlands are the most important part of Middle-earth, and I included some text from Middle-earth. Perhaps that article (which needs cleanup) should be trimmed from such specific information, and be left only with general information unrelated to the Westlands (i.e. references to all the West, East and South) Sage 09:54, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
Rename
Ar-Zigûr (talk) 08:08, 1 November 2024 (UTC): I propose to rename the article to 'West-lands'. The name 'Westlands' (without a hyphen) appears four times in the LotR's text, out of which two instances refer to Eriador. However, the name 'West-lands' (with a hyphen) appears five times in the text, out of which only one instance refers to Eriador, while the other intances refer exactly to the wide north-western portion of Middle-earth.
