Targon was a man of Gondor during the War of the Ring.
History
Targon worked at the storehouse and buttery for the Guards of the Citadel in Minas Tirith. On the morning of 9 March, T.A. 3019[1] he gave Beregond and Peregrin Took food and drink for a picnic.[2]
Portrayal in adaptations
2003: The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King:
- A card from The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game identifies one of the Gondorian soldiers riding with Faramir as Targon.[3]
2015: The Lord of the Rings Online:
- Targon can be found on the sixth level of the pre-battle Minas Tirith. He has no lines and plays no role in the storyline.
