The First and Second Ages is a collection of the proceedings of the 5th Tolkien Society Workshop, held in Milton Keynes in 1990. It was published by The Tolkien Society in 1992 under the auspices of the Peter Roe Memorial Fund in 1992; it was republished as a second edition in 2020.
