The sign of the Floating Log, as depicted in The Lord of the Rings Online.
"During the War of the Ring, Saruman (being known as "Sharkey") and his Men took control of the Shire. In this time the Floating Log Inn was closed. On November 1, 3019 III Frodo Baggins and his companions returned to the Shire, and intended to stay at the Floating Log Inn when they reached Frogmorton on their journey home to Hobbiton. The First Eastfarthing Troop of Shirriffs arrested Frodo and his companions and took them to the Shirriff-house in Frogmorton."
― The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Book VI: Chapter 8: "The Scouring of the Shire"

The Floating Log was an inn in the village of Frogmorton, in the Shire's Eastfarthing. The Floating Log stood on the East Road that passed through the Shire, about halfway between Hobbiton and the Brandywine Bridge, and so must have been a busy place. In the time of the War of the Ring, though, Sharkey and his Men took over the Shire, and shut the inn down (it would presumably have been reopened after Sharkey's demise).
