The Second Map of The Lord of the Rings is a map that was drawn by J.R.R. Tolkien during the writing of The Lord of the Rings. It was his working map during the writing of book V of The Lord of the Rings. It has map-squares of 2 centimetres side. Its scale is 2 centimetres for 100 miles. It was drawn in black ink. Red ink was used for a few alterations. In the final state corrections and additions were made in blue ink, in blue crayon and pencil.
