Third Age 2043 (abbreviated to T.A. 2043) is the 2043rd year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2043 was also known as S.R. 443 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Death of King Eärnil II of Gondor.[1]
- Eärnur, son of Eärnil II, becomes the thirty-third King of Gondor.[1]
- Eärnur is challenged by the Witch-king.[2]
