Translations from the Elvish was a work, written in three volumes by Bilbo Baggins between T.A. 3001 and T.A. 3019, during his stay in Rivendell. The formed a substantial part of the Red Book of Westmarch, and formed the basis for the collection of tales known as The Silmarillion.
