Hello! My name is Giovanni. I am an editor - I think - and I just started using Tolkien Gateway.
I really liked - like, like really like - the movies - credit to Peter Jackson - and the books - credit to Professor J.R.R. Tolkien - the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Well, I just finished 'The Silmarillion' right, and I am now currently reading 'The Fall of Gondolin'. Tell me, I still don't get the changing of names from 'The Silmarillion' to 'The Fall of Gondolin'. Like before, it was Ulmo, not Ylmir,or the Noldor, not the Gnomes (Noldoli).
But anyways, I also have loved J.R.R. Tolkien's passion for language. I know the basics of Sindarin (not Quenya, it never really esteemed me) and I just love his passion for languages. He is also one of the reasons why I like studying languages. But anyways, yeah.
Books
I have read:
- The Hobbit (which I think comes first)
- The Lord of the Rings (whole trilogy)
- The Silmarillion (yessir)
- The Fall of Gondolin (currently reading)
Books I want to read:
- The History of Middle-Earth Series (Volumes 1-12)
I'm still fixing these things (because I just joined) so BE PATIENT!
