Aragorn Masters the Palantír

From Tolkien Gateway

Aragorn Masters the Palantír is the sixtieth scene of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (extended edition). This scene was not featured in the theatrical release of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

Aragorn looks into the Palantír and sees Sauron. A voice is heard saying “silivren penna miriel”, which is part of the song A Elbereth Gilthoniel.[1] The Palantir then shows Arwen dying and Sauron begins to speak in black speech.

Aragorn eventually masters the Palantír and challenges Sauron by displaying the reforged sword of Elendil.[2]
