Wives of the Elf-Fathers

The Wives of the Elf-Fathers were the spouses to the three Elf-fathers who were the first Elves to awake by the bay of Cuiviénen on the inland Sea of Helcar. Their names were Iminyë, Tatië, and Enelyë. Their husbands are (respectively) Imin, Tata, and Enel.[1]

In The Nature of Middle-earth, Oromë brought the Western Corn seed that was used in art of the making of lembas. He taught this art to the Three Elderwomen of the Elves, rather than the Yavannildi.[2]
