Summary[edit | edit source]
The Grey Pilgrim reclining in rare relaxation. Cool colors dominate the piece, with the exception of the fiery irises in the foreground. Garland once again asserts himself as a master of mountains. It looks to have possibly been inspired by Josef Madlener's "Der Berggeist", one of the inspirations for Gandalf.
