Sir Ian Holm

British actor Sir Ian Holm (born 1931) voiced Frodo Baggins in the BBC radio adaption of The Lord of the Rings. Years later he played Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

It is a well-known fact in the film world that Ian Holm completely changes his performance with each re-take.

Ian Holm is the father of Harry Holm, who played Elanor Gamgee in the 1981 radio series.
