Tim Kirk is an artist who has illustrated various scenes from J.R.R. Tolkien's works.
Kirk's illustrations became known to Tolkien fans when they appeared in early American fanzines. A series of twenty-six paintings for The Lord of the Rings was done for his master's degree in illustration and some of these were published by Ballantine Books in The J.R.R. Tolkien Calendar 1975.[1]
