Middle-earth: The White Hand, released in 1997, was an expansion set for Middle-earth Collectible Card Game.

The White Hand further complicates the game by adding a third faction, the corrupted Fallen-Wizard, whose player can use both hero and minion resources and characters, although with restrictions.

The White Hand was sold in 12 card boosters (36 boosters per display) with 2 rares, 4 uncommons, and 6 commons in each.

Reception

In a review for InQuest, Luke Durok praised the game for doing “something few other CCG expansions have accomplished”, stating that the fallen-wizard mechanics make for a true expansion with “a whole new style of play”. He did find that overall the artwork wasn't as strong as previous expansions.[1]
