Orcs: Revenge of the Ancient was a video game developed by Berkeley Systems and slated for publication by Sierra Entertainment in the late 1990s.[1] The game was cancelled on 22 September 1999 due to a restructuring at the company.[2]
The game would have had you controlling an orc chieftain under Sauron, training a team of orcs using a system that its designers likened to a more sophisticated twist on the mechanics introduced by the Pokémon games for Game Boy. Players would also have been able to compete against others online.[1]
