Sellic Spell
From Tolkien Gateway
Sellic Spell is an unpublished short story by J.R.R. Tolkien, re-creating the (lost) folk-tale underlying the Norse Saga of Hrólfr Kraki. The manuscript is held by the Bodleian Library.[1]
The saga is commonly held by Tolkien scholars to be the main source for the idea behind the character Beorn.[2][1][3]
