Taur-nu-Fuin means "Forest of Darkness" in Sindarin (taur, "forest"; nu, "under"; fuin, "night, darkness"); in the Lay of Leithian, it is translated as "Forest of Nightshade". It can refer to:
- Taur-nu-Fuin, the Forest of Dorthonion in Beleriand which existed in the First Age.
- Taur-nu-Fuin, the name for the Forest of Mirkwood in the Third Age, before it was renamed Eryn Lasgalen.
