I don't agree, since all creature articles on TG are in plural. Since Fastitocalon is said to be the last Turtle-fish, it's quite natural to assume that there were more than one. --Morgan 20:02, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That's right. "Fishes" is very uncommon (tends to be used by children, or - sometimes - to refer to many different types of fish, like "the fishes of the North Atlantic"). In the poem, Tolkien actually uses "Turtle-fish" as the plural, "last of the turtle-fish". --Mith (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 20:23, 16 October 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
