Third Age 2985 (abbreviated to T.A. 2985) is the 2985th year of the Sun of the Third Age of Middle-earth. Third Age 2985 was also known as S.R. 1385 in Shire-reckoning.
Notable events in this year include:
- Birth of Pervinca Took, third child and third daughter of Paladin Took II and Eglantine Banks.[1]
- Birth of Melilot Brandybuck, third child and second son of Marmadas Brandybuck.[2]
- Birth of Estella Bolger, second child and only daughter of Odovacar Bolger and Prisca Baggins.[3]
