::Seeing as they are the same event, I feel like they should be combined. However, the exile article focuses a lot more on leaving Valinor and the journey to Beleriand. This one focuses more on the Noldorin impact on Beleriand, like you said. Perhaps it would be possible to expand the exile article (in a new section?) to include more about the impact of the Noldor after their arrival in Middle-earth. I would also argue that the Return of the Noldor is not a single event, but a series of events that's covered in the chapter's article [[Of the Return of the Noldor]] --[[User:Oromë|Oromë]] 14:25, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
