Fangros was an unspecified place where the Gnomes burned their stolen ships out of repentance, during their flight from Valinor, according to the early version of the legendarium in a prose fragment following The Book of Lost Tales, and in The Lay of the Children of Húrin.[1][2]
An earlier name for the place was Fangair.[3]
