Tim Kirk is an American artist who has illustrated various scenes from J.R.R. Tolkien's works.

Kirk's illustrations became known to Tolkien fans when they appeared in early American fanzines. He completed a series of twenty-six paintings of The Lord of the Rings for his Master's Degree in Illustration, some of which were published by Ballantine Books in The J.R.R. Tolkien Calendar 1975.[1]
