1954 - The BBC Third Programme broadcasts the radio play of The Homecoming of Beorhtnoth.
1955 - Tolkien's poem Imram is published in Time and Tide.
1998 - Tyalië Tyelelliéva issue 13 is published.
2003 - Actor David Hemmings dies.
2004 - The Lord of the Rings Symphony plays in Newark, New Jersey.
2009 - The Lord of the Rings Online: Siege of Mirkwood is released in Europe.
