An Edition of Þe Liflade ant te Passiun of Seinte Iuliene ("An Edition of The Life and the Passion of Saint Juliana") is the published thesis of S.T.R.O. d'Ardenne, who wrote the thesis under the supervision of J.R.R. Tolkien. The book is dedicated to Tolkien, who is also is also acknowledged by d'Ardenne in the prefatory note: "I am deeply indebted for assistance from the beginning of my work on this text, and especially during the revision of the glossary and grammar." D'Ardenne admitted in private correspondence that Tolkien should have been credited as a joint editor.[1][2]
