Feast of Felling
From Tolkien Gateway
The Feast of Felling is possibly a type of event or activity in Minas Tirith or Gondor as a whole.
The term is mentioned by Borlas in his conversation with Saelon as an example of a place not to leave axes hanging from the walls in order to be able to constantly hew the Dark Tree, a description of the growing threat of evil in Middle-earth.[1]
