Summary
I wanted to paint an image that was symbolic of the fight for the possession of the Ring during the events of The Lord of the Rings, so I decided to include the hands of the 4 characters who fought over it the most. The hands in the illustration are those of Frodo, Gollum, Boromir and the Witch King of Angmar (who hunts it on behalf of Sauron).
