Forums:Was Thengel's mother from Gondor?

On both Tolkiengate and One Wiki to rule them all, I've been told that Thengel's mother was Gondorian. Sources cited are from the appendices of The Lord of the Rings, yet I could not find any information on his mother at all. As far as I know, Morwen Steelsheen and Lothíriel were the only Gondorians to marry into the House of Eorl. Now I'm confused, and I don't like being confused =(

The only thing Appendix A says about Thengel was that he lived in Gondor, not why he lived there, so I'll remove it. --Ederchil ^{(Talk/Contribs/Edits)} 15:10, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
