The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

Mell is a blind Sinda Elf confined to the cellars of the Elvenking's Halls. Mell was invented by Daedalic Entertainment for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, where she will be portrayed by an unknown actor.[1]

Mell was one of the Riddlemaster's followers, and is the only follower to have survive a trip into Mirkwood.

History[edit | edit source]

A Sindar Elf confined in the cellars of Thranduil's halls. Mell was blinded years ago, she now lives in guilt and solitude. She has a strong affinity with water and can use it to communicate with others if she so desires. Her pale skin, ragged look and lack of social skills highlight the isolation she has endured for so long.

Due to her living conditions and blindness, Mell lacks a lot of the grace that the other Elves have. Her clothing is simple and easy to wear to avoid complications when trying to dress herself.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

Mell is a Sindarin word meaning "dear, beloved".[2]
