North Undeep in The Lord of the Rings Online

The North Undeep was one of two westward bends of the river Anduin located between The Wold and the Brown Lands (the other being the South Undeep). The upper part of the North Undeep also bordered the Field of Celebrant and was where the river Limlight joined the Great River.[1] Both of the Undeeps had many shallows and wide shoals that afforded an easy crossing for armies,[2] which occurred a number of times during the history of Gondor and Rohan.

Portrayal in adaptations

2012: The Lord of the Rings Online:

The North Undeep is located north of the river Limlight and thus belongs to the in-game "Great River" region, outside of Rohan proper. It does not connect the Brown Lands to the Field of Celebrant directly, but rather to the Rushgore marsh that lies in between them. The Rohirrim have constructed and manned a fortified camp of Etheburg on the eastern bank of Anduin in the Brown Lands to watch over the North Undeep.
